Ben and Dan, The ColdFusion method and the stored proc are both great, thank you! I will certainly end up basing my own pagination logic on either one or another (or both methods). I am still unsure on why you choose to use a CASE statement in the second query... Can't we simply copy the ORDER BY... read more »
