My DZone Interview With Dan Wilson: Creating Software Simulations Using Interface-Driven Architecture

When I was down at the CFinNC ColdFusion and FLEX conference, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Dan Wilson at the DZone offices. We got to talk about building rich internet applications (RIA) using design processes like Interface-Driven Architecture and web technologies like jQuery and ColdFusion. I had a lot of fun doing this and I hope that you might enjoy watching it.

Special thanks to Dan Wilson, not only for organizing the fabulous CFinNC conference but also for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts on designing rich, compelling business software.

Great interview!

Somehow it is just now dawning on me that you came all the way to NC and I didn't get the requisite 'photo with Ben'... :(

I didnt have a porblem - but I think you're problem is your speakers - prob not in stereo.

In the interview, Dan comes out the left, and Ben comes out the right (mostly).

So maybe your balance is out?

...or maybe it's just Dan's sweatshirt is so bad, that is the cause for your problem. And everything bad. Ever.

Nice Interview Ben.

:)

BTW -- I'm starting to really enjoy using jQuery I was scared at first to learn it, but realized how much time and money it would save me in the end. I looked at the project mentioned. Good Job, looks great Ben keep up the good work.

I believe in love. I believe in compassion. I believe in human rights. I believe that we can afford to give more of these gifts to the world around us because it costs us nothing to be decent and kind and understanding. And, I want you to know that when you land on this site, you are accepted for who you are, no matter how you identify, what truths you live, or whatever kind of goofy shit makes you feel alive! Rock on with your bad self!
