KinkyTwits is a totally free ColdFusion and jQuery powered Twitter client. It was built to be a single-user client and therefore works off of one Twitter account login. It stores its persisted data in JSON files on the server and therefore can run without the use of a database.

  • Run without a database.
  • Updates page title and taskbar title as new statuses come
  • Allows custom groups that can filter statuses based on regular expressions. These custom groups offer the option to have tweets removes from general feed (making the general feed less distracting).
  • Group links highlight in white when new, unread statuses come in.
  • URL Shortening Service runs of an interface allowing you to swap in different services depending on what accounts you have (requires programming).
  • You can "snooze" users if they post annoying tweets (filters statuses into "Snoozed" group automatically for a given amount of time - additional hour per snooze).
