Perhaps a little late... I have been using Rubymine, from Jetbrains for my Ruby dev - http://www.jetbrains.com/ruby/ It costs, but you get 30 days to try it for free. I am a fan of their Java IDE - IDEA - so its an easy thing to pickup.... read more »
