Apple iPhone 3G Has Been Extremely Frustrating
Posted on Aug 27, 2008 at 9:47 AM
I like the "answer a call and 10 seconds later the ipod starts playing again, double the decibel level of the call while you fumble to navigate to pause it again" That's with the non-3g though... read more »

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Starring Harrison Ford
Posted on Jun 10, 2008 at 10:18 AM
@Brian - ...and a more general discussion of this versus other IJ movies, okay, I agree with you, sorry :) The movie is still worth seeing. The plot is sort of an afterthought, thrown together to support the George Lucas special effects and action. Still worth seeing, even if you know the whole p... read more »

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Starring Harrison Ford
Posted on Jun 10, 2008 at 9:55 AM
And how did the Spanish guy get the skull hundreds of years ago, when it crash landed in Roswell, and that skull also belonged to the alien in the ancient space ship, that had oodles of traps getting to it, that someone had reset at some time? More plot holes than swiss cheese.... read more »

Omg, I'd forgotten about the Tarzan scene... Probably blocked it from my mind. For the most part, I was fine with the movie until the very end. A flying effing saucer... http://dyingstar.com/blog/index.cfm/2008/5/27/Indiana-Jones-and-the-Kingdom-of-Aliens... read more »

Getting Certified In ColdFusion 8 Scares Me
Posted on Aug 28, 2007 at 4:00 PM
I failed my first try at getting CFMX certified a few years back. I thought "I've written ColdFusion for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for the last year and a half, how can I fail?" I wanted to upgrade to CFMX advanced before 8 came out, guess I blew my chance. Ben, if someone like you, who is co... read more »

Ignorance Rears Its Ugly Head Again
Posted on Jul 17, 2007 at 9:50 AM
If you talk to someone from New Atlanta, ColdFusion != CFML. ColdFusion is the Adobe product, a web application server; CFML is the tag based language that runs on said server. Last I checked, CFML wasn't in the top 20 languages currently in use. But if you look at how popular an application made ... read more »

Having Trouble Getting Back On The Coding Horse
Posted on Jul 9, 2007 at 1:12 PM
I've been in that "don't want to code" funk since the first of the year. I do Flex and CF for 8 hours at work, then come home. All I want to do at home is watch TV, play video games, or read a book. I have some great projects in my brain, just can't muster up the energy to turn them into code.... read more »

CFUNITED Rocks - ColdFusion Rocks - You Guys Rock

It was funny how the more well known names in CF development were treated like celebrities at CFUnited. Of course I'm no better. When you stepped out next to me at the dunk tank, I thought "omg! That's Ben!" before turning to say hi.... read more »

@Matt Very nice! Wish I knew about your work months ago! I searched all over in February for other folks doing armory scraping with CF, only found ASP and PHP users.
