The Four Agreements By Don Miguel Ruiz
Price: 500
This audio book of the Four Agreements has become somewhat of a mantra for me; I tend to listen to portions of it every week to remind myself of what's important. The book outlines a small set of "agreements" that we can form in order to gain personal power and live in "heaven". While the book is somewhat spiritual, it is primarily about how to live well. This is easily one of my favorite books.

It Was On Fire When I Lay Down On It By Robert Fulghum
Price: 650
As are all his books, It Was On Fire When I Lay Down On It is a collection of stories about Robert Fulghum's life. This particular book was given to me by my father over 15 years ago and has given me a great perspective on life. To give you an idea, the very first page of the book starts out with this passage:
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.
Years later, I still find myself drawing upon the concepts in this book. It is, by far, his best work.

The Magic Of Thinking Big By David Schwartz
Price: 690
This audio book is wicked fantastic! It is probably the most helpful book that I have ever read in terms of promoting personal growth and a re-evaluation of one's self. I truly believe that this book helped me to become a better, more well-rounded person. This is definitely a book that I will be re-read many times in the future.

Muscle: Confessions Of An Unlikely Bodybuilder By Samuel Wilson Fussel
Price: 1,200
I don't like to tell many people about this book. Not because it's bad, but because it's so awesome. By knowing about it, I somehow feel like I'm in a sort of secret club - a club whose only dues are the knowledge and appreciation of the book itself. It is both inspiration and depressing; one of the best books that I have ever read, fitness related or not.
