Thanks Mickey, but I am reading not writing. I can find the hook to the Excel File System (LOCAL.ExcelFileSystem) in ReadExcel, but that variable is LOCAL to the POIUtility and all that is returned from the ReadExcel routine is the array of sheets. I have been using the POIUtility for years and absolutely love it. However, when I run afterwards I can not edit the Excel file that I have processed and I get "Filename.xls is currently in use. Try again later." is this a windows problem or should I by "freeing" the file at t... read more »
