When Excel cant open the XML file, it does write the error out to a log. I ran ProcessMonitor and they are written out to: C:\Documents and Settings\<MyName>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO\<DifferentNumberEachTime>.log... read more »
