Garth had it right, at least with SQL Server. You don't need a custom function to do what's already built in. If you need to use it in a comparison you can easily do something like WHERE CONVERT(nvarchar(20), MyDateColumn, 101) BETWEEN @DateFrom AND @DateTo I always forget the... read more »
