Thoughts On Storing Duplicate / Calculated Data In The Database
Posted on Mar 28, 2008 at 12:36 PM

That being said, my rules that would apply here are: - First and foremost a good database design. Get familiar (if you are n... read more »

Advice On Balancing Cohesion, Packaging, And God Objects?
Posted on Aug 24, 2007 at 7:47 PM
I got a brilliant idea, he he. Brake it down as much as possible but write something to pack it in one file for distribution. For download, the person can get the single file or the broken down distribution. The concept is somewhat similar to downloading the current JavaScript frameworks (jQuery,... read more »

The Bourne Ultimatum Starring Matt Damon And Julia Stiles

I also saw the movie this past weekend. I didn't have high expectation so it was all right. On a side not, I have to say that I cannot take Matt Deamon seriously anymore after the "Team America - World Police" movie. If you guys haven't seen that one, it's pretty damn good.... read more »

REListFind() ColdFusion User Defined Function
Posted on Aug 1, 2007 at 1:29 PM
Nice work! This will be useful. Good to know that (?i) means case insensitive. It does make me wonder why I can't just use "/i" though (like most other languages) and while on that point, why not stick to the regex syntax of /blah/i. Anyway, unrelated thought, how the heck do you go from ch... read more »

Using Path Info To Influence The Browser's Save-As Action
