VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Dead On The Money!

My girlfriend sent this horoscope to me last night. I think just about sums up my mentality perfectly:

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Your relationship with time seems to be one of your biggest problems. There's never enough of it. You're always fighting against the limitations it imposes. It frustrates you and even hurts you. But let me ask you this: Can you imagine yourself cultivating a more friendly and cunning relationship with time? Are you able to visualize the prospect of you and time becoming more like allies than adversaries? How would it feel to regard time as a loving taskmaster that compels you to realize you can't do everything and must therefore focus on only your brightest dreams and truest pleasures? This is a perfect moment, astrologically speaking, for you to attempt this magic.

It's not my fault - there just NEVER enough hours in the day. Ugggg! This is stressing me out :) How can I master ColdFusion 8 by Monday if there's only 2 days in the weekend with 24 hours each?!?!?!?

Fret on fellow Virgo. As a teen I was always busy with scouts, rugby, school work etc. As a college student I was studying, running the rugby team, the bowling team and responsible for the junior common room. Since graduation the pace just hasn't yielded.

If I had any tips for you to master the relationship with time it would be to practice saying no. Instead of agreeing to build that simple website for a friend that you know is going to balloon into another time hog, carefully consider it in the context of your personal goals.

Who am I kidding? Today the checklist includes marathon training, co-ordinating the fusebox marketing team, maintaining WalkJogRun, running the ChiFlickr Meetup group and keeping the house clean. 32 years of battling the clock.

@Adam,

YES, saying NO is very hard thing today, especially when it comes to things like that - building sites for friends and family that you know will just become an ongoing thing (why do I always think it will be different than a regular client).

Saying No is something that I need to work on.

Good luck with your schedule, sounds rough (and familiar).

Ha ha, yeah I think someone once suggested Ray Camden use one of those :) I would kill for something like that. I love falling asleep (and the act of laying in bed)... but once asleep, I don't care how long it is for.

A friend of mine and I were arguing about astrology and she told me that he believes in astrology. She hasn't provided me with any evidence that the belief makes any sense to me. She she been telling me that I can't prove that it's wrong. Does her answer have merit? Any suggestions/help/opinions?
