Any Idea What's Going On With Full As A Goog?

Posted April 19, 2007 at 9:02 AM by Ben Nadel

Any one know whats up with 'Goog these days? The pings seem to be breaking and throwing either a timeout error or something like this:

An error occurred when performing a file operation write on file d:\www\users\daemon\www.fullasagoog.com\feeds\XXXX.xml

Then, like 12 or 15 hours will go by without it being updated at all. Not trying to attack the Goog in any way, just was wondering if they were in the middle of updating the site or maybe they are not even aware that this is happening. Full As A Goog rocks, and it's where I get most of my CF info so I was just hoping someone might know more than me.

I've been trying to contact Geoff at the Goog for some time to ask if he can update my feed URL but haven't ever heard anything back. I had kinda assumed the goog was a static project now.

Oh don't worry, I do :) And, to a much much lesser extent, MXNA.

Speaking of Feed-Squirrel I have been trying to email regarding getting my blog on the list (well, my coldfusion category anyway). Been trying for a couple days but get bounced emails.

Since someone may read this that can fix the email bounce I will post the error. :-)
