Fusion Authority Quarterly - Issue 2 - Most Excellent

Last night I finished reading Issue 2 of the Fusion Authority Quarterly. It is such a great publication. I was just over on Michael Dinowitz's blog telling him that having read an issue of the ColdFusion Developer's Journal and having read two issues of the FAQu, his publication is worlds better.

For me, the best part of the issue was the covering of Mach-ii and Model-Glue. I have looked at examples for the frameworks before and I have looked at sample code, but it never really came together for me. For some reason, the written explanations in the FAQu really nailed it! I had several Eureka moments where stuff just started to make sense.

There were some articles about the business aspects of ColdFusion. These are nice, but I pretty much skim them over. To me they are irrelevant. I am fairly limited in the stuff that I care about; to me, the idea of marketing myself, marketing ColdFusion, and growing a business just seems, well, unrelated to Programming in ColdFusion, which is the aspect that I am super enthused about. What can I say? I LOVE Coding! I love it.

Anyway, if you are someone who loves ColdFusion and loves coding, then check out this publication. It is good stuff.

Ben - thanks for posting this. I didn't know the issue was available. I ordered it based on your recommendation.

If I'm not 100% completely satisfied, I know you'll pay me back the subscription fee :)

Bruce,

You will be satisfied, and I'd be willing to bet Michael's money on it ;)
