Creating More ColdFusion Solutions For XStandard Web Services
I had a little time to kick around today for research & development so I thought I would take another look at the XStandard WYSIWYG editor. There are some very cool things that I never used before including the ability to lock down parts of the document using CSS only and the ability to include templates during WYSIWYG mode (but not output them in the final content evaluation). The included templates, referred to as "subdocuments," work with the web services. I am, as we speak, integrating them with my ColdFusion solution for the XStandard web services.
The locking down of document portions is very interesting. It only works in the WYSIWYG mode, not in the XHTML edit mode. Once you are in XHTML, you can do anything you want. But, considering that you can disable the XHTML edit mode ability of the editor, this locking stuff can be VERY cool.
I always say it, but I'll say it again... LOVE XStandard.
