ColdFusion + Porn = Neural Associations

Someone recently called me out for putting pornographic references in my ColdFusion code. They were offended that I would include lewdnessin my public ColdFusion blog. I can understand why someone might get offended, but rest-assured, my reasons for doing so are well founded:

People do not like learning!

I know lots of people who do not like learning. Heck, I even work with some of them. A long time ago, these people associated "pain" with learning. Whether it be school, homework, having to put in a few extra hours here and there, or just not having enough time to play video games, somewhere along the line, these people decided that the pain of learning was more persuasive than the joy of knowledge.

By integrating Porn into my ColdFusion blog, I am attempting to change people's neural associations. Let's face it, people like porn. But putting something that people enjoy into something that people do not enjoy, I am trying to change their neural patterns. I am trying to take something they don't enjoy (learning) and make it enjoyable for them (using porn) so that in the future, they will associate joy with learning regardless of the presence of porn.

I know it's a big undertaking. I am only one man trying to change the world. But hopefully, one nudie picture at a time, I can get more and more people digging ColdFusion as much as I do. Then, the learning will take off on its own.

I might just point out that not everyone derives enjoyment from porn.

And people don't enjoy learning if they aren't interested - I've come across many people who settled for second best and then decided this is far enough. Seemed to be rather miserable people too, go figure.

I enjoy learning, but I hate porn.

@Simeon,

Everyone has their own likes, dislikes, and boundaries; I certainly respect that, 100%. I try my very best not to force anything on anyone. Over the past few years (this blog post is four years old), only people who derive value from my blog continue to come back. As with any system, I have found my niche and have build a solid relationship with my community.
